Christmas morning

Opening presents on Christmas morning. Finn got some fun toys, but his favorite thing was the wrapping paper and ribbon.

Space Needle

Aunt Julie, Finn, Jen, and I went up the Space Needle. Finn wasn't the least bit disturbed by the height and had a pretty good time up there. He was distracted by all the people and had fun people-watching. We got lucky and went up as the sun was setting, and Mt. Rainier was visible in the background. Here's the family:

It's a long way down!

Cheesecake. YUM!!!

We went on a coffee & chocolate tour of downtown Seattle yesterday. The highlight was cheesecake at a place in Pike Place Market (it was so good we went back for more the next day). Finn could have eaten his own sample!

Finn's First Flight!

Finn's first flight, from Portland to Seattle. He did well, and especially liked landing. He laughed and laughed as the plane came to a screeching halt on the runway.

Vacation!

Finn is winging his way west tomorrow to spend Christmas with Oma Jill in Seattle. He'll be back in a week! Have a Merry Christmas!

Opening Gifts

Finn had an early Christmas at his Grammie's house and at his Gido's house last weekend. He liked opening his gifts!

Owen and Nicole's boy, Leyton, was born on Monday. Finn is excited to have a new friend!

We got our first snow of the season, Finn's first snow ever, last night! We took him out this morning to see what he thought of it. He enjoyed every minute of it!

Finn likes books. He can't read them yet, but he likes it when we read to him and he likes playing with them. He has fun looking at the pictures and trying to put the pages in his mouth.
