Lazy Sunday Lego Lunch

Here's Phineas enjoying lunch in his pajamas after a morning of Lego play.  It was a beautiful day, though, so we did get outside later to go for a bike ride!

Gingerbread Men!

Last weekend Phineas and Mom went down to our local bakery to make gingerbread men.  Phineas got to make two cookies, and he had a great time spreading the frosting and then adding all sorts of candy decorations.  He was quite proud of his creations!

New Haircut

Phineas got a haircut last weekend. Here he is showing it off while eating a bowl of ice cream of course!

Cousin Sam and Anne's Wedding

Last weekend we went to Phineas's second cousin Sam's wedding in Delaware.  Here are some pictures from the wedding and reception, which mostly turned out to be good pictures of Phin and Mom!  There is also a picture of Phineas enjoying the wedding cake and playing frisbee with his other cousins.

Baguette!

Mom and Phineas went to the bakery and got a baguette for dinner last week.  Except that when they got home Phineas snatched it, snuck off, and ate almost half of it!  But luckily we still had enough for dinner.

Phineas's 4th Birthday!

On July 13 Phineas turned four years old!  We opened a few quick presents at our house and then jumped into the car and drove to his grandparents' camp in Brooklin where we met his cousins Henry and Ben as well as many other family members for a party.  He had a monster truck cake and played in both the pool and the ocean and had so much fun that he completely wore himself out!

Zootunes

After we finished looking at the animals we went to an outdoor concert at the zoo.  We picnicked with Oma and then watched the music. 

Mmmm...doughnuts!

One of our favorite stops was at Top Pot doughnuts, where Phineas had his pick of their flavors.  He picked a frosted doughnuts with sprinkles.  After eating that, he decided it was time to eat Dad's doughnut!

 After our breakfast treat, we went to a nearby park that overlooks the skyscrapers, Mt. Rainier and to Phin's excitement, the Space Needle.

Ice Cream Treat!

After we took Dijon to his new home we stopped for ice cream.  Ice cream is Phin's favorite treat right now, so he was very excited.  He ordered mint chocolate chip and devoured his cone.  Then he finished off Mom's cone too!

School Life

Before the field trip started, we got to spend a few minutes with Phineas while he was at school.  Here are some pictures of him on the playground "sailing his boat to Italy" and eating snack with his friends.

Juice Box!

Phineas got a juice box when we were out a few weekends ago.  What a marvelous thing, he thought!  He was very excited to put the straw in and drink from it.  Here's a picture of him enjoying it.

Worker Breakfast

It's the first day of April vacation and Phineas started the day with an outside worker breakfast. He put on his worker boots, his sweatshirt, and his hat and took his toast and banana bread outside. Phin wanted to eat on the lawn but it was foggy and cold so he brought breakfast into the garage instead, and ate it on his fire truck.

Sugar Shack visit

We went to a sugar shack recently to see how maple syrup is made. Phineas' favorite part, after looking at the ATVs, was watching the steam rise from the evaporator. The ice cream with maple syrup and maple sugar coated nuts was a treat, too!

Lunch

Here's Phineas' favorite lunch: a peanut butter and jelly truck sandwich driving on a carrot road with raisin rocks. Yum!

Breakfast Routine

Here are some shots of Phineas' breakfast routine. First, he likes to have a drink while we're making him his breakfast. Then, he usually sits down and eats whatever we've made for him. But, if Dad or Mom has something more interesting, he makes sure we share with him. And he never misses an opportunity to read a car magazine with Dad!

Purple Man!

Phineas LOVES blueberries. He likes them fresh, frozen, in muffins, in anything! Here he is after eating a bowl of frozen buleberries for dessert one night.

Thanksgiving Pie

Mom made a delicious apple pie for Thanksgiving dessert. Here are some pictures of Phin enjoying it, though he like the ice cream just as much or more!
