Maine Maple Sunday

Sunday was Maine Maple Sunday so we took Phin to the sugarhouse at Auger Hill Farm. We had lots of fun learning all about how they tap the trees and watching the sap evaporator. Phin's favorite parts were tasting the ice cream topped with fresh maple syrup and looking at the ATV's that they use to collect the sap.

This is one of Phineas' favorite breakfasts: a fruit smoothie and a bowl of frozen blueberries, or as he calls them, "burr" blueberries!

For a little while Phineas didn't like the vacuum. But he's coming around to it and likes to help mom when she uses it!

We decided to bring the camera when we played outside this afternoon. Like usual at our house it was really windy but, today, warm! Phineas loved the warm weather and helped Mom rake some of the flower gardens. He also likes to run around the lawn and play on the rock patio.

You know what they say about kids and empty boxes - they're the best toys ever! Also, Phineas had his 18 month check up yesterday (he is 20 months old now but with the move we are just getting around to his appointment) and he now weighs 22 pounds 15 ounces and is 34 inches tall.

Now that it's finally warming up, we took Phineas' tractor outside to let him drive it on our driveway. He had fun and liked to pull it into the garage and putt around.

Phineas liked helping out and playing in the kitchen so much that we thought he'd like his very own kitchenette. He was really excited when the box came and he helped Dad put it together. He likes playing with it and will be even more excited when his play-food comes soon.
