Today we went sledding, and Phineas had fun!  Here is a video of his run with dad.

Inside on a cold day

It was cold outside today - a high of about 15 degrees - so Phineas hunkered down in his playroom and had fun with his Lego collection.  When he plays he starts singing.  Since it's Christmas time, he's been singing a lot of Christmas songs lately!

Easter Egg Hunt 2013

Here's a video from this year's Easter Egg hunt.  We filled the eggs with Lego pieces, two Matchbox cars, and some candy.  When he found all the eggs we went inside and put together the Lego set.  He had fun!

Helping Mom bake a cake

Here are two videos of Phineas helping Mom bake a cake. His contributions come early in the process, with mixing the ingredients, and then at the end when he eats it. This time he realized he could improvise a treat by dipping his graham cracker in the sugar.

Phineas' Take on Santa Clause and the Reindeer

This is the first year Phineas is really able to comprehend Christmas. He's learning all about the holiday very quickly. Here he is explaining how he thinks Santa Clause works.

Phin likes maps!

Aunt Julie gave Phineas some map placemats and as it turns out he's a fan. He calls the US map his "states" and the European map his "countries."

Watching the Farrier

The farrier came today to trim Dijon's hooves. Phineas watched from his bedroom window and played along by having his Lego man shoe his toy horse.

Phineas likes it when we make words out of his magnetic letters. He knows a few words including May, Dijon, and Oil Truck!
