Happy Halloween!

Though it was a rainy night, our hearty UPS deliveryman went out trick-or-treating tonight.  He had fun and got into the rhythm of it, knocking on doors and talking with people.  Here are a few pictures of his outfit before we went out, and one of the loot he brought home.

Halloween 2012

Fireman Phin went trick-or-treating today and brought home quite a haul.  We wandered the streets of Rockland and saw lots of people, but no other firefighters!  Earlier in the day Phineas went to the library for his usual Wednesday morning story time and Mom took some pictures of him in costume.

Carving Pumpkins

Even though Halloween was almost a week ago, we thought we'd share some pictures of Phineas carving pumpkins. The final result is below - we carved a backhoe pumpkin!

Halloween Trick or Treating

The Chamber of Commerce had a downtown trick-or-treat event and Phineas was there, decked out in his Fire Chief outfit. Here are some pictures of him on his way to pick up some treats!

This year's jack-o-lantern pays homage to Phineas' current obsession: balls. He really likes playing with his toy balls, basketballs, and playground balls. And he runs around pointing at anything resembling a ball and says "ba ba!" Including pumpkins, even though he knows what a pumpkin is.

update: when Phin saw this post he said...wait for it...."ba ba!" as he pointed at the pumpkins.
