Snoozing

Phineas is a very light sleeper so it's rare to catch him asleep. But today he was taking a long nap and we wanted to wake him up so that he wouldn't stay up all night. So we snuck in with the camera, snapped a shot, and then started playing Legos outside the door. When he heard us talking about Legos he woke right up!

Easter Egg Hunt

We set up an Easter egg hunt for Phineas on Easter. We filled a bunch of eggs with chocolate chips (and a few with peanut butter cups) and hid them around our lawn. Phineas caught on quickly and really had fun running around and finding the eggs. Once he realize they had chocolate in them, it all got that much better!

Waiting for Dinner

While waiting for his dinner, Phineas looks at a book. He likes to point at different things and call out their colors.

Easter Eggs

While Dad and Uncle James worked outside on the stall, Mom, Phin and Grammy played inside. One thing that Phin got to do was dye Easter eggs. He liked watching the eggs change color, saying his color words and dropping the eggs into the different colors of dye.

Helping with Dijon's Stall

Over the weekend Uncle James came over to help build a stall for Dijon. It was cold, windy and rainy so Phin spent most of the time inside looking out the window, waving and saying "hi" to Dad and James while the worked. He did venture out a few times to check out the progress.

Legos!

Phineas is a fan of Legos. He likes to make stairs and then march his Playmobile people up and down them. He also likes using his front-end loader to load his dump truck and then drive around with a load of Legos.

Muddy!

Now that it's finally getting warm out we've been able to explore what our new place has to offer. The prime attraction is the shore and we've been going down on a daily basis. Phin likes to walk on the mud flats when the tide is out. This time he fell and got all muddy! He shook it off, and after we took off his muddy jacket he played some more on the lawn.

West Quoddy Head

We went to the easternmost point in the U.S.A. today, West Quoddy Head in Lubec. Aunt Julie was up visiting for the weekend and came along with us. It was a little windy, but we had the entire place to ourselves!
