Coming in from the cold

Here are some pictures of Phin after we came in from playing outside. Before he could get his snow pants off he distracted himself with a catalog.

Playing in the snow!

Phineas likes playing outside, regardless of the weather. He wants to drive his fire truck when he gets home every night but it's been too dark lately. So, today he drove it all over our driveway and lawn, on the icy snow. Then he got out his trucks to clear off our driveway!

Happy!

Here's Phineas, happy to be a firefighter (in his pajamas)!

Playing

Phineas got some really neat new toys for Christmas. In fact, it was almost overwhelming. But he's managed to find the time to play with all of them. Here are two pictures of him playing with his new toys.

Baking

One of the things Phineas did while he was on Christmas vacation was cook! Here are some pictures of him getting the muffin tin ready for cupcakes and mixing the Chex mix.

Opening Phin's gift from Santa

For weeks Phineas asked Santa for a Red Tractor for Christmas. So, here's his reaction when he opened his gift from Santa this year...

Christmas Morning

Phineas had a wonderful Christmas and received lots of great presents. When he woke up, the first thing he did after he realized Santa had come was open his stocking. He had all sorts of toys and chocolates in there, and insisted on eating his chocolate lobster right away. But, he didn't want to wait to open the other toys inside. So, as you can see, he perfected the one-hand-opening technique while eating his chocolate lobster.

Early Christmas

On December 23, Phineas went to his Grandpa and Grandma Friend's house to have an early Christmas. His cousins were there, and here are some pictures of Phineas and Henry taking stock of what they got.

Purple Man!

Phineas LOVES blueberries. He likes them fresh, frozen, in muffins, in anything! Here he is after eating a bowl of frozen buleberries for dessert one night.

Advent Calender

Phineas really likes opening the Advent Calender each day. First, he says "I want to do my Advent Calendar" and then he asks "What day it is today?" Then we go over the numbers and he tries to find the day on the calendar. And once we find it, he's quick to eat the chocolate inside!
