Sugar Shack visit

We went to a sugar shack recently to see how maple syrup is made. Phineas' favorite part, after looking at the ATVs, was watching the steam rise from the evaporator. The ice cream with maple syrup and maple sugar coated nuts was a treat, too!

Sunday morning playing

Phineas likes to play in "scenarios," as he calls them. Phineas and Dad think of something fun and build it with Lego blocks. Then, Phineas starts playing. Here he is playing with his barn, firefighter house, and road.

Underwear!

Phineas has been using the potty over the last several months. When he uses the potty successfully, he gets a sticker to put on his Potty Sticker Chart. As you can tell, it's mostly construction and rescue vehicles (surprised?). Recently, Phineas became interested in wearing underwear. Now, when he's home, he wears undies around the house instead of a diaper. Yay, Phin!

Helping Mom bake a cake

Here are two videos of Phineas helping Mom bake a cake. His contributions come early in the process, with mixing the ingredients, and then at the end when he eats it. This time he realized he could improvise a treat by dipping his graham cracker in the sugar.
